Evaluation

This was taken just outside City of Westminster College and I have not used any techniques for this shot I only just turned the camera sideways. The reason why I chose this picture is because normally people don't see the darker side of nature in urban environments. The other reason why I chose this picture is because this picture is proof that nature can blend well with the artificial features of an urban environment like a lamppost.

This was also taken outside of the City of Westminster College, I used a fast shutter speed in order to take this picture. and the reason for this picture was taken was because the picture represents Urban wildlife and Nature at it rare moments. I used the fast shutter speed to capture the squirrel just to make sure that the squirrel don't runaway. This shows that people
This picture was taken at St. Mary's Church next to City of Westminster College. There were no specific techniques used in this shot. The camera's brightness was set at 100%, I was therefore surprised when the picture came out so dark. However on reflection I think the contrast between the light of sun in the center
of the image and the dark on the edges is very effective and representative of the natural beauty that can be found in London during the winter. I would not change anything in this picture.

This was taken outside of the City of Westminster college grounds specifically were the graves were moved, plus the camera was used in to focus on only this little tree as for the rest in the background was blurred to make the focus stronger (concentrated).

This one was taken at Little Venice were the lake side was, and also it was also a good time for me take a good shot in which I used fast shutter speed to capture the moment of the ducks swimming. plus it also makes it look like ducks live in a swim-way life knowing ducks like to have a lot of space for running on water, this narrow stream doesn't give it.

The reason for why this picture was taken was because the fact that nature isn't always there in one place. People cut trees to make paper out of it and also for technology to expand in various areas and its also making animals and insects hard to create home live in, for example birds need trees to live and make a nest for it children to live in as well. This picture was used fast shutter speed due to the boat moving at the time.

This picture was just normally taken no modes was used for this picture. I like this picture how the branches look like veins from an eye socket. the other reason for why I took this picture was the nature can look anything similar to a human body as well as just being a tree, leaf, sky or defiantly animals.

Water Reverse Evaluation

When first devising my installation video, I was considering the idea of water being a vital life source that is difficult to acquire. I wanted to reflect on what would happen if the process was reversed and the water came to us instead. I felt that this idea was conveyed well through the visual concept of the video. I slow-framed the footage and reversed it to create the achieved effect.

I used a lot wide shots in order to fully capture the water returning to my hand, however the idea might have been even more clearly expressed if I had used an equal amount of close up shots. It might of been a good idea to get some close up shots of the water emerging from the ground, so its source would be more understandable to the viewer.

The idea behind the video might also have been more clearly expressed if i had included  more content and the video been longer. I selected "Rebirth Reverse" by Abingdon Boys School as a backing track. I was happy with this choice of music as I felt it suited the mood and tone of the video as a whole. The technique I have used was that I slowed the video playback and used just only the reverse  effect at 60 frame per second to add that slow motion view.

What I would included if i had more time would be that i would use the river side and drop water in  the river and playback reverse to make the viewers more understandable about of what the video is about.

My opinion about the video is that I found it rather great because people in any sort of videos not normally use the slow motion reverse video and try to make the viewers understand what the video is about

What to Do for video installation

Need to be in a natural environment with a bottle of water covered up in my hand so that it would look like as if it came out of my hand entirely. Plus when editing the only effects for this installation would be slow motion and reverse the video, that is my plans for making the video installation.

Is DVD dead

You can get DVD's from stores and on the internet they can be delivered as well as being processed to download on your computer

DVD's became popular in 1993 that was the year when CD's replaced VHS videos

The threats towards dvd's are that it can be downloaded illegally it can be recorded inside the cinema plus people can also watch it free at a website without having to pay or just by answering some questions

What do you get on DVDs that you don't get with videos online?
You can get some bonus content for example you can get deleted scenes that you can see as for downloading a movie from the internet would mean that you would not be able to see the extra content that would hold inside the disk.

As for the future of cd's I personally think that it would die out soon because mostly people would download films on the internet and not caring for extra content plus extra content is normally on websites like youtube.
